Hey Nineteen a Tribute to Steely Dan is comprised of top professional musicians, many of whom have performed with Grammy- winning, international artists. Hey Nineteen brings the big hits and the deep cuts, from ‘Do It Again’ to ‘Your Gold Teeth II’, from ‘Reelin’ in the Years’ to “Doctor Wu” and “Peg” many more. The legendary “East Coast Rock’n’Roll” group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1972 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers – Motion Picture Soundtrack”.  The hit single “On the Dark Side” held the “Number-One” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for “five” consecutive weeks.  The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA. The title track from the group’s 1985 follow-up album “Tough All Over” became their second “Number-One” single on the Billboard Rock charts and the song “C-I-T-Y” reached the Billboard Top 20.  John Cafferty’s solo track “Hearts on Fire” was featured in the Sylvester Stallone film “Rocky IV” and he received his second double Platinum soundtrack award.  Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures. Today John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band continue to tour and bring their exciting live shows to fans around the world.  In 2012 they were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall Of Fame.


Rico has led his band (sometimes as large as 17 pieces) with great success to show in Paris, France, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, Dallas, Salt Lake City, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and many other concert locations.  Rico’s musical performances and his leadership acumen paved the way for his band, Rico Monaco & Sol Sons, to win a national battle of the bands sponsored by Hard Rock Café and Cabo Wabo Tequila.  He was honored as “Musician of the Year” in 2002 (JINO Awards, Orlando FL) and has received numerous other awards, such as eight-time Best Latin Rock Act in Orlando, Song of the Year, and CD of the Year.  The 2016 release “We Rock You Rust Unplugged” by the Rico Monaco Band, has seen his original composition “BAM! I See Red” featured multiple times on the popular celestial radio show “Sunday Morning Acoustic” hosted by program director Hildi Brooks on Central Florida’s WMMO 98.9. Rico is proud to be endorsed by Paul Reed Smith Guitars and sponsored by Cabo Wabo Tequila and Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum (both owned by Hall of Fame rock-n-roll legend Sammy Hagar).
